Register Today: Free River Connection Train Ride

The St. Louis River Alliance invites you to enjoy a free, family-friendly River Connection Train Ride on Thursday, September 5th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Hop on board the historic Lake Superior Mississippi Railroad and travel west with spectacular views of the St. Louis River. 

We will park and depart from Munger Landing (Clyde Avenue, Duluth, MN 55808). Boarding will begin at 5:00 p.m., departure at 5:30 p.m., ride until 7:30 p.m. Free snacks will be provided. We will enjoy the beginning of the fall colors while discussing some of the exciting cleanup progress being made within the St. Louis River Area of Concern.

This event is made possible through the Great Lake Restoration Initiative and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and is intended to reconnect those who have been historically cut off from the river due to various reasons. Therefore, priority is given to those living in one of the 18 neighborhoods adjacent to the St. Louis River including: Carlton/Thomson, Cloquet/Scanlon, Cody, Denfeld, Fairmont, Fond du Lac Reservation, Fond du Lac Neighborhood, Gary-New Duluth, Irving, Lincoln Park, Morgan Park, Norton Park, Oneota, Riverside, Smithville, and Spirit Valley. 

***If you are not residing in one of these neighborhoods, you can still register but will be added to a waitlist and notified by September 3rd if space is available.
