@joyinfussed22 and Siiviis Gallery donate over $500 in earring proceeds!

We want to give a warm thank you to Terry McCarthy (@joyinfussed22) and Siiviis Gallery for donating over $500 to the St. Louis River Alliance from the August proceeds of Terry's earring sales at the gallery.

Terry makes his earrings out of paper, wood, bark, cones, hammered metal wire… He hand harvests dead branches, always looking for interesting colors and features. Then he cuts slices, hand sands them, and finish with oil and beeswax or water-based polyurethane. What comes from it is a unique, beautiful piece of art.

A life-long Duluthian, he is still thankful to be living here. When Terry began making his creations, he knew right away that he wanted to gift proceeds from his sales to situations, local organizations, and individuals in need of financial support. Amanda Clark, the new owner of Siiviis Gallery in Canal Park, partnered with him to help raise both awareness of and monies for local organizations doing important work.

Thank you Terry! Stop in at Siiviis throughout the month of September, as Terry is now donating his proceeds to the Duluth Community Garden Program.
