2022 Membership Drive has begun!
Support an important cause and be entered to win a guided kayak trip down the St. Louis River!
The St. Louis River Alliance (SLRA) has launched our annual Membership Drive from November 1 to December 13. The focus of the drive is to encourage new memberships and raise $25,000 in funds to support the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail, habitat restoration work, and continued programming of stewardship events and educational opportunities.
Executive Director Kris Eilers said, “We would like to thank the community and our partners for the support and participation in the decades of work that is resulting in a cleaner river! It is rewarding to see all the habitat and remediation projects move forward; many of which would not have been funded without the Alliance’s efforts and the support from our community”
From November 1 until December 13, all new and returning SLRA supporters will have the chance to win a guided St. Louis River kayak trip for up to six people. The winner will be announced at the SLRA’s River Ally Appreciation Party on December 13th from 5:00-7:30 pm at Zeitgeist in Duluth. This event is free and open to the public.
In order to be entered to win the kayak trip, participants must do one of the following; become or renew an SLRA membership, successfully refer a friend to become a member, or make a tax-deductible donation to the SLRA. Multiple entries allowed for additional contributions. Membership applications are available outside of the St. Louis River Alliance office (394 Lake Ave. S, Suite 208 in Duluth) or online at www.stlouisriver.org/become-a-member.
