Description: This intermediate distance trip will bring you through marshy backwater and offers excellent bird and wildlife observation opportunities.

Special Considerations: Wild rice restoration in North Bay, Duck Hunter Bay North, and Walleye Bay are sensitive habitats and should be treated with caution and respect to minimize disruption.

Safety: The St. Louis River Estuary offers some of the best boating and paddling experiences in the nation, but it also requires thorough knowledge of water safety and a sharp eye for weather.
