St. Louis River Area of Concern Updates: Grassy Point & Kingsbury Bay

ST. LOUIS RIVER AREA OF CONCERN NEWS & UPDATES |
Keep your eyes open throughout the summer as you may see large equipment on the water near Kingsbury Bay & Grassy Point. At Grassy Point, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is removing turn-of-the-century sawmill waste and reusing it to build new island features (see photo). This work will mitigate historic impacts to fish and wildlife habitat and help delist the St. Louis River Area of Concern.
