July Sunset Paddle (Photos)

We had a great event with @theskihut and Northland Paddlers Alliance for our monthly Sunset Paddle!

Thank you to everyone who came out to learn about some important safety on bracing and deep water rescues.

The St. Louis River is the largest tributary to Lake Superior, so it was only fitting we explore part of the shores of the big lake. We did the instructional in a little cove at the mouth of Lester River and ended the night with a calm paddle up to Brighton Beach.

Safety is incredible important and we hope you can join us for the next Sunset Paddle! Held on the third Friday of each month (June - September).

You can register and learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/sunset-paddles

These events are free and open to the public. You must provide your own gear and have a life jacket! Locations to be determined, but we are hoping to have one of the next paddles on the St. Louis River.
