Celebration of Progress: St. Louis River Area of Concern

Have you seen the dredges, orange fencing, or dump trucks along the St. Louis River and wondered what are they working on?

Many St. Louis River construction projects have been completed or are underway. You are invited to come learn about the progress made this past year towards delisting the St. Louis River as an Area of Concern (AOC).

We are excited to finally be able to meet in person and celebrate all of the accomplishments of the St. Louis River Area of Concern!

Join the St. Louis River Alliance and AOC Partners for our Annual Celebration of Progress on Thursday, November 10th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth, Minnesota

This event is free and open to the public. Come enjoy some food, a cash bar, and great conversation with local Area of Concern coordinators! Our keynote speaker will be sharing updates on the Spirit Lake Cleanup - this is a great opportunity to come ask your questions.

This event is hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance, on behalf of the St. Louis River Area of Concern coordinating organizations: the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Funding provided by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
