2020 Celebration of Progress: St. Louis River Area of Concern (Virtual Event Recording)

At this years 2020 Celebration of Progress we learned about the St. Louis River Area of Concern projects that have been completed and those that are underway.

The event was virtually hosted on Tuesday, November 17 from 6-8 p.m. via Zoom. This is a recording of that event.

This event was hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance, in partnership with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

This year’s special speakers focused on the progress of habitat work in the estuary for Great Lakes Piping Plover (presented by US Fish and Wildlife Biologist Reena Bowman) and the Common Tern (presented by Fred Strand Species Expert).

In addition, we had a panel discussions with AOC Coordinators where participants asked their questions pertaining to projects and progress. Thank you for all that joined and for those of you watching this live recording!
