Annual Celebration of Progress: St. Louis River Area of Concern (Virtual Event)

You are invited to come find out what St. Louis River Area of Concern projects have been completed and learn about what projects are underway at this years Virtual Annual Celebration of Progress.

Tuesday, November 17 from 6-8 p.m. the event will be held via Zoom.

The event is free, but registration is necessary.

This event is hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance, in partnership with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

This year’s special speakers will be focusing on the progress of habitat work in the estuary for Great Lakes Piping Plover (presented by US Fish and Wildlife Biologist Reena Bowman) and the Common Tern (presented by Fred Strand Species Expert). In addition, we will have open room discussions with AOC Coordinators where you can ask questions pertaining to projects and progress.
