Winter Walk (1).jpg

Come explore Lake Superior & the St. Louis River Estuary in the winter! Hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance.

Hike or snowshoe - bring the whole family! Those who are not able to walk - feel free to hangout by the fire. Come learn about the St. Louis River Alliance and our important work of protecting, restoring and enhancing the St. Louis River Estuary. We will also have a guest speaker talk about the great restoration work that has happened on Wisconsin Point.

We will be parking at Lot #1 on Wisconsin Point. This year we will explore the beach of Wisconsin Point and/or the Bay, depending on weather and wind. Come enjoy the spectacular views of Lake Superior and the St. Louis Rive Estuary! This route will be conducive to hiking, snowshoes, cross-country skis and fat tire bikes.

We will supply hot beverages, including tea from the forest.

Bring a snack or a bag lunch to eat at the fire.

Please dress weather appropriate and bring you own water bottle.

If the weather is sub-zero in temp or wind chills we will cancel for safety reasons.

All are welcome. FREE event, with the opportunity to donate. All donations go towards the work and mission of the St. Louis River Alliance.
