Location: Meet at Bear Creek Park (110 Moccasin Mike Rd, Superior, WI 54880)
We will be doing a beach clean up to help prepare for summer and habitat work with the Piping Plover. Cleanup includes: Garbage cleanup and woody debris pickup on shorebird habitat.
SLRA will provide bags and some gloves, but please bring your own gloves if you can. Bring your own water bottle – drinking water and snacks will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and the job!
Interested individuals and organizations may contact the St. Louis River Alliance to find out more about volunteering for this clean up effort.
Volunteers may help out for all or part of the 3 hours we will be out there.
Monetary donations are also being accepted to help with the cost, supporting our efforts in this clean up.
This is an annual SLRA tradition, and we’d love to see you! Volunteers and Members have long helped with the clean-up of our waterways, and we appreciate your efforts. We’re all in this together and can make a difference.
Thank you for supporting clean water!
