January 16: Annual Membership Meeting & Program
Clyde Iron 6:30-8:30 pm
Presentation: 2012 Flood In Jay Cook Park by Kris Hiller, Park Naturalist
February 9: Winter Walk on the River
Explore the sites of former sawmills, and other industries in pre-1900 New Duluth. 1:00- 3:00 pm. Meet at Boy Scout Landing
March 21: Return of the River: History of WLSSD exhibit
Great Lakes Aquarium – 5:30 -7:00 pm.
April 9: Environmental Stewardship Awards
Spirit Mt Moosehead Lounge – 6:30- 8:00 pm
May, June, July and Sept: Canoeing or hiking trips at various locations

August 17: Annual Canoe Tour and Picnic
Cloquet, MN 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
SLRA members $5, Non members: $10; Family rate is available:
October 6: Fall Colors Train Ride on the Lake Superior Mississippi Railroad
4:30-6:30 pm. Cost is $25/person. Child rate available)
(This event will determined by the completion of the bridge over Kingsbury Creek)
