2017 Events and Activities

River Cleanup The SLRA Stewardship Workgroup organizes an annual River Cleanup event every spring. The intent of these events is to remove garbage in sites of past dumping along the river. Sites of high use may also be selected if they are currently orphan and not maintained by a public agency or volunteer group.

A Celebration of A Brilliant Future on the River: Join us on the deck of Pier B Resort on the Harbor July 20th from 5pm-7pm. Open to the public!

Canoe Tour and Picnic The SLRA sponsors an annual canoe tour and picnic for members and nonmembers. This event is for families, individuals, beginners or experienced kayakers/canoers, everyone is welcome! For more information on our Canoe/Kayak Tour and Picnic, click the link above.

Vista Star Boat Tour of the Estuary:  In September the SLRA holds a boat tour on the Vista Star.  Stay tuned for details!

Environmental Stewardship Awards The St. Louis River Alliance (SLRA) and its Environmental Stewardship Workgroup recognize outstanding environmental stewardship efforts in the lower St. Louis River Watershed.
